I live in Finn Slough a fishing village in Richmond, BC, Canada. I shall perform at home by myself & with my fishing village community. I shall use 4 elements: water, fire, fish and breath. There are approx. 20 community members (fishermen, children, parents, shipwrites, artists) They are invited to drop by between noon and 9 pm to participate in a ritual performance action that takes place every hour on the hour. The action can take 5 minutes only or take the full hour until the next hour arrives and it is time to do the ritual again. The ritual is
1. lighting a candle facing south
2. drinking a glass of water facing north
3. cooking/eating some fish east and west
4. lying on the floor --tailbone south/head north/arms east & west and b-r-e-a-t--h-i-n-g. This is a performance about validation of peasant life in our modern world.

"Gina's laundry"
Vivo en Finn Slough, un pueblo pesquero en Richmond, BC, Canada. Ejecutaré el trabajo en mi casa junto a mi comunidad del pueblo pesquero. Usaré 4 elementos: agua, fuego, pescados y respiración. Hay aproximadamente 20 miembros de la comunidad (pescadores, niños, padres, dueños de barcos, artistas). Ellos están invitados a venir entre el mediodía y las 9 pm a participar en una performance ritual que sucederá en cada hora, justo a la hora. La acción puede durar sólo 5 minutos o durar la hora completa, hasta que la siguiente llegue y sea hora del ritual otra vez. El ritual es:
1. Encender una vela hacia el Sur.
2. Beber un vaso de agua hacia el Norte.
3. Cocinar/Comer pescado hacia el Este y hacia el Oeste.
4. Yacer en el suelo - los pies hacia el Sur / la cabeza hacia el Norte / brazos hacia el Este y el Oeste y r-e -s-p-i-r-a-n-d-o. Esta es una performance sobre la validación de la vida corriente en nuestro mundo moderno.
